El artículo 18.1 de la Ley 33/2003, de 3 de noviembre, del Patrimonio de las Administraciones Públicas, establece que corresponden a la Administración General del Estado los valores, dinero y demás bienes muebles depositados en la Caja General de Depósitos y en entidades de crédito, sociedades o agencias de valores o cualesquiera otras entidades financieras, así como los saldos de cuentas corrientes, libretas de ahorro u otros instrumentos similares abiertos en estos establecimientos, respecto de los cuales no se haya practicado gestión alguna por los interesados que implique el ejercicio de su derecho de propiedad en el plazo de veinte años.
De los antecedentes obrantes en la sucursal de la Caja General de Depósitos de esta Delegación, se desprende que ni los propietarios ni sus causahabientes, en su caso, de los depósitos en efectivo que a continuación se relacionan, constituidos hace más de veinte años, han efectuado acción alguna de dominio sobre los mismos, por lo que de acuerdo con los artículos 18.1 de la Ley 33/2003, de 3 de noviembre, el artículo 27.2 del Real Decreto 161/1997, de 7 de febrero, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento de la Caja General de Depósitos, la Orden de Economía y Hacienda de 7 de enero de 2000, por la que se desarrolla el citado Real Decreto, y de conformidad con el artículo 3 de la Orden del Ministerio de Hacienda, de 9 de enero de 1970, de reorganización y mecanización de los servicios de la Caja General de Depósitos, resulta procedente considerar los citados depósitos como bienes abandonados incursos en prescripción, y por ende, pertenecientes a la Administración General del Estado.
Se advierte a los interesados que si en el plazo de un mes, a contar desde el día siguiente al de la publicación de este anuncio en el Boletín Oficial del Estado, no se ha presentado reclamación justificando la interrupción del periodo de prescripción antes de su vencimiento (20 años, contados a partir del día siguiente al de constitución de cada uno de los depósitos) se tramitará el expediente de prescripción a favor del Estado.
